Everyday, our system selects lunch and dinner based on your dietary preferences, past feedback, and
category rotation. You'll receive a notification to review each selection; modify lunch until 11:30 AM and
dinner until 8:30 PM.
What if I don't like my selected meal?
You can change a meal before its cutoff. For lunch, browse the menu and swap your selection until 11:30 AM; for
dinner, order between 12:30 PM and 8:30 PM and modify until 8:30 PM. Rating meals helps us understand your
preferences better.
Can I cancel my daily order?
Yes! Cancel lunch by 10:30 AM or dinner by 6:00 PM on the delivery day. After each meal's modification cutoff
(11:30 AM for lunch, 8:30 PM for dinner), that order locks and payment is processed. Orders are only created
for working days (Monday-Friday) by default.
Can I update my dietary preferences and allergens?
Yes! You can update your dietary preferences and allergens anytime through your Mealy account. Simply go to
your profile settings in the app or web portal, make your changes, and save them. Your updates will apply
immediately to filter your menu options and help our Kitchen Partners prepare safe, personalized meals for
you.
How do I update my dietary preferences or allergen information?
To update your dietary preferences or allergen information, open the Mealy app and tap your Profile icon,
then go to Dietary Preferences to update Dietary Preferences or go to Allergen Information to update your
allergen information. Select or deselect options, then tap Save. Your changes will apply to future meal
recommendations immediately.
How is the delivery fee calculated?
Delivery is charged as a flat fee based on the number of boxes ordered—starting at just $0.99 for 1-2
boxes, $3.49 for 3-5 boxes, and $5.99 for 6-10 boxes (max 10 per order). The same fee applies to lunch and
dinner deliveries. There is no surge pricing, no peak-hour markup, and no bad-weather premium. The fee is
fixed and transparent regardless of meal type, day, or time.
How much does an average meal cost?
The average meal cost is approximately $10.50, plus applicable taxes. Delivery is charged as a flat fee based on the number of boxes ordered: $0.99 for 1–2 boxes, $3.49 for 3–5 boxes, and $5.99 for 6–10 boxes. There is no surge pricing, no peak-hour markup, and no bad-weather premium.
How does the wallet work?
Your Mealy wallet is a prepaid balance inside the app. You load it once—for example with the $250—and each
locked lunch or dinner order is deducted when that meal's cutoff passes (11:30 AM for lunch, 8:30 PM for
dinner). No need to re-enter payment details every day. Your remaining balance is always visible in the app.
What happens to my wallet balance if I don't order on a day?
Nothing is deducted. You only pay for what you eat—if you cancel lunch before 10:30 AM, cancel auto-scheduled dinner before
6:00 PM, or skip a meal entirely, your wallet balance stays untouched. Your balance rolls over and is always
available for your next order.
What is the $250 monthly plan and is it mandatory?
The $250 monthly wallet top-up is an optional convenience sized for roughly one meal per day for the month—not
lunch and dinner every day. Order lunch or dinner (or both on days you want) and only pay for what you
actually eat. It is not a subscription or commitment; you can load any amount you prefer.
Is there a subscription or lock-in contract?
No. Mealy has no subscription, no monthly commitment, and no lock-in contract. You use it when you want,
skip when you don't, and stop anytime - no cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Can I order both lunch and dinner on the same day?
Yes. Lunch and dinner are separate orders with their own windows. Lunch is selected in advance and can be
modified until 11:30 AM (cancel by 10:30 AM) with delivery from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Dinner can be ordered
between 12:30 PM and 8:30 PM, modified until 8:30 PM and delivered between 6:00 PM
and 10:00 PM. Each meal locks and charges independently at its cutoff.
Does Mealy deliver on weekends too?
Yes—Mealy now delivers 7 days a week. Whether it's a weekday office lunch, a weekday dinner, or a weekend
meal, the same flat $0.99 delivery fee applies every single day.
